The year 2026 promises to be an exceptional one in the Drôme region. It will be dedicated to Madame de Sévigné, the famous 17th-century letter writer who lived at the Château de Grignan with her daughter.

To mark the 400th anniversary of her birth, the Drôme will celebrate this major figure in French literature with a dedicated cultural program: exhibitions, shows, activities, meetings, and events will take place throughout the year.
